We have four operating sugar mills at Racecourse, Marian, Farleigh and Moss man. Our revenue bottom includes raw and refined sugar, molasses and renewable energy. He has been growing cane in the Mackay district for more than 33 years. Paul returned to cane farming in 2010 behind busy as a professional engineer for approximately 20 years, predominantly in the West Australian Iron Ore mining industry. During this period he worked in a variety of maintenance, major project management and engineering management roles for BP billion Iron Ore and in a project role for Sinclair Knight mere. Maurice was responsible for providing advice to a number of companies including those in the Queensland sugar industry. He is responsible for managing the business to attain optimal profitability and effective use of the business' prosperity and people. Peter is a capable solicitor and is a Fellow of CPA Australia. He has also been involved in general sugar industry matters from both a legal, commercial and financial perspective. He has more than 30 years' experience at Mackay Sugar. Terry first commenced his career in the sugar industry in 1970 as an Apprentice Fitter and Turner at Pleystowe Mill and behind leaving the industry for a brief period of dairy farming in 1980 returned to Mackay Sugar in 1995 to perform in roles such as Single Shift Supervisor, Maintenance Supervisor and, maximum recently, Factory Manager. Craig's focus is to yield leadership, management and strategic direction to the Cane Supply and Logistics departments and the safe and efficient operation of Mackay Sugar's cane transport operations. Haydn is responsible for the Moss man Mill operations, including cane supply and transport logistics, factory operations, business improvement functions, and capital and maintenance projects. The Board is responsible for the oversight of the company and regards corporate governance as a key element in the drive to enhance our company’s performance. Board members are involved with the succeeding committees: On average, we bear about 800,00 tonnes of raw sugar each year. Raw sugar for the export market is delivered to the bulk sugar terminal at Port of Mackay and (from Moss man Mill) to Port of Cairns.This sugar is marketed on our behalf by Queensland Sugar Limited, the body responsible for marketing over 90 per cent of Queensland's export production. It’s also provided to Sugar Australia Joint Venture for further processing and refining. From the sugar manufacturing process, we create the succeeding byproducts: We bear over 2 million tonnes of bagasse each year. The fatigue steam is used to process the sugar juice. We employ over 630 people in a variety of management, operational, planning, procurement, information technology, human resources, accounting, administrative, trade, technical and processing roles.

Our history, spanning over 140 years, has seen us prosper into Australia’s second largest sugar milling company. Our extensive industry knowledge has been shaped by changes in ownership, financial structuring, an increasing world demand for sugar, and innovation.
