Our Rotary club has feverishly started planning for after year's Mayor's Charity Ball. A vibrant region of Australia, where coal, sugar and tourism are the regions major industries. It’s an ideal club for busy people that want to get involved with Rotary and don’t have time to attend lunch or evening meetings. In that time we have had a lot of merriment and developed hot honorable and sincere relationships among st club members and our local community. The club is now looking for fresh enthusiastic members for the next 25 years of our journey. Reach along and enjoy a meeting on us, reach to a few social events as healthy and see what really happens in Rotary. We’d love to confront you and will enjoy becoming friends with you as we have laughter raising money for people that are less fortunate than us. A little over a hundred years a Chicago lawyer, Paul Harris found he only ever got to speak and deal with people from his own profession, so he began meeting regularly for lunch with people who worked in a diverse profession or business. This informal group soon began to receive on projects in the community and beyond. From these modest beginnings Rotary has grown into an organization of 1.2 million women and men, in over 210 countries. Fresh day Rotarian do all sorts of things for example we’ve sponsored. Exchange students from all around the world, both incoming and outgoing. One of our members has gone to India to help with Polio vaccinations which is probably Rotary’s biggest victory story. Mackay Sunrise Rotary Club is a very gregarious club that runs one major event a year and spends most of its money locally.
